New Interactive Teller Machines make banking at QCU more convenient
Quincy Credit Union is excited to announce that it now has Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) at the Marshfield Branch and in Kilroy Square in Quincy.
QCU’s ITMs offer cutting-edge tech with a human touch
ITMs are a type of banking technology that combines the features of ATMs and live tellers. QCU’s ITMs have video screens that allow customers to see and speak with a live remote representative who can help them with their accounts or transactions.
ITMs are user-friendly and easy to operate. The ITM video teller is prompted when the customer selects the Live Teller option. The QCU teller appears on the screen to assist the customer with various transactions including, but not limited to withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, and transfers.

This technology is ideal for consumer transactions, but complex business transactions or those with many items are not recommended. For ITM transactions, your debit card is not needed. A photo I.D. may be required to verify your identity.
Enhanced features of the live teller interaction include:
- the ability to ask questions and discuss transactions
- make loan payments – by cash, check, or transfer
- transfer funds between depository accounts
- and withdraw cash, in varying denominations.
Customers can still use the new machines for traditional ATM functions at any time, day or night.
Live teller assistance is available during regular banking hours.
